Curled up on the couch, with Apollo by my side, I silently watch Willa.
Her belly is huge, far too big; carrying the Colleman twins can’t be easy. Fortunately, everything has gone well and the delivery is expected in a month.
The little clothes she pulls out of the gift bag Reid hands her make her eyes shine with excitement.
"Oh, it’s blue," she gasps, so thrilled her joy seems capable of lighting up the entire room.
"Show me, let me see," I ask, leaning forward to take the tiny garments. They’re really small, which I guess is appropriate for a newborn. Just imagining the little bodies that will fill those fabrics makes my throat burn with a massive knot.
