I thought signing the contract was the hardest part. I was wrong. "Smile." Adrian's voice was ice as he pulled me into his side for the cameras. Flash. Flash. Flash. Cole Tower Gala. I took the glass. My hands were still shaking. "To contracts," I replied. He stepped closer. Too close. "I don't believe in contracts, Mrs. Cole. I believe in ownership." My heart stopped. Did he know? Before I could answer, his phone rang. He looked at the screen and his whole face went cold. "We have a problem," he said. "Someone's leaking company secrets." And I knew exactly who it was. Me.
