5 Kira went through the contents of her carry-on one more time. She checked everything against her mental list. Passports, Kori’s credit card, clothes, contacts, glasses... She would buy anything else she might need while she was on the road. She had bought the glasses a few weeks ago from a retiring optometrist who was closing up shop. She had made sure to book an eye exam with him beforehand as an excuse in case she was being watched. The frames of the glasses held plain, plastic lenses and were straight from the sample rack.
