Rob flipped from one tab of his laptop’s browser to another, and then back again. He had the tracking apps for both of Kira’s phones up and running. Both screens currently displayed the same message:
‘NO SIGNAL.’
Rob sighed. Kira’s new phone had dropped off the radar shortly after her flight to Vegas had reportedly taken off. She hadn’t called from the gate like they had planned since she had already just called on her way there with her new Pegasister friends. Rob had been watching flight updates from the airport all morning. Even though he knew he wouldn’t be able to pick up her signal again until after her flight landed, he couldn’t help checking.
