Maybe This is Love

Raelynne's POV:

I'm just waking up when I feel warmth on my back and a heavy thing laying on my side. It's so warm I don't think I want to get up. "mmm" a voice says, and it's not my own. That only means one thing. Connor slept in the room with me last night after I kicked him out. "Good morning sunshine. How'd you sleep?" Connor asks me like we were normal. "Connor, what are you doing? In the bed with me?" He laughs, and goodness it feels amazing to hear his laugh. "Today we celebrate you joining our pack. Are you ready?" I go stiff. No I'm not ready for everyone flooding my mind with their thoughts about me. "Yeah." Is the only answer I give him. He grabs me and sets me on top of him, when he does this I feel how hard he already is, I think he gets harder as he sets me down on top of him. "Do you know how badly I want you, Rae. It eats me up inside that you don't want me like I want you to. Tell me, please, is there anything I can do to make you want me like I want you?"

I giggle at his neediness. "You're so adorable, Connor." He growls in response, "Let me mark you as mine. I need everyone to know that you're mine." I place my hand on his chest, "Connor, I like you. But, " before I can finish my sentence he slams his lips onto mine. I moan as he swipes his tongue on my lips. I open, granting him access to my mouth. His tongue invades my mouth and god it feels amazing. "Connor." I'm moaning his name and moving my hips up and down, grinding against him. "Raelynne, I need you now." with this, he turns me over and kisses my neck. I lift my neck up granting access for him to mark me. Am I really going to go along with this? I don't see why not. Before he can bite down on me, I stop him, "Connor, I'm a virgin. I've never done anything like this."

This earns a pleased growl from him. "That's ok, little witch. I'll take it slow until you're begging for more. I'll start here, at your neck. Then move down to your breasts, down to the spot I know you want me most. s*x can wait until you're ready, but now I'm going to mark you as mine." This sends pleased shivers down to the spot between my legs. Without touching myself I know I'm soaking for him and ready, but not ready for s*x. "Okay, Connor. Mark me please." I beg him. This makes him growl. His eyes are now a dark brown, I think his wolf is trying to take over. I can't wait to meet his wolf, but right now I need him to make me his.

He moves his hand around my neck and lifts my neck to show where he's going to bite me. I'm ready and as soon as he bites me all I see starts. It hurts and he knows that this hurts as he starts to lick my neck to soothe the spot. After he starts to kiss me like he's apologizing for hurting me. "Connor, thank you." He smiles at me and lays his head on my chest. I'm running my hand through his hair as a voice floods my head, "Hey, little witch. When I marked you that means we can talk with each other. Just me and you. Through this link we share." "Really?" I'm excited by this, I now can talk to him when we aren't near each other. "I see that someone's excited." He laughs at me, talking normally. I shove him off me and laugh at him too. "Another cool thing about this, is that we can sense each others emotions. If you feel nervous I can feel it. Excited, I can feel it. Any emotion." I'm laughing cause he sounds so excited about this.

We start talking about nothing and anything under the sun when someone knocks on the door. "Alpha Connor, your meeting is here." He groans and rolls his eyes. "Go, I'll be fine." I tell him. I grab his face and kiss his lips goodbye, then head into the bathroom to shower.

Connor's POV:

After she walks off to the bathroom I get up and get dressed. I get down to my office and open the door to see an Alpha from another pack. "Nice to see you again Alpha Cain. How have you been?"

"I'm fine, young Alpha Connor. I see that you've found your mate. And that she's a unique little wolf. Have you heard about the white wolf prophecy?" Prophecy? He must see the confusion on my face because he continues, "See, your mate is the white wolf. She's the first born witch of the Hawthorne bloodline, which is very special on its own. But the moon goddess Availia has also granted her with white wolf powers. I hear that her wolf will be gorgeous and that she will be powerful. Her witch blood gives her certain powers, Connor." He tells me this and I'm taken back. "Really, Alpha Cain? Is there anything we can do to help her control her powers?" I'm wanting to know more about this white wolf prophecy. "Yes, young alpha. I have a witch within my pack that would love to help. But this is not why I have come to see you. Her father is becoming a problem within neighboring packs. He's trying to get rogues together to come and capture your mate." This sends a rage through my body. "Calm down young Alpha, I have my greatest warriors hunting him down and guarding or territories." I think back to the twins. Skylar and Mariella are our best warriors, they are also prophesied in the white wolf prophecy.

"I have her brother and sister, who are twins. They are prophesied as the great warriors to protect her in the upcoming battles. Do I need them in here with us?" I ask him. "No, Alpha. They are a key piece to this fight. You have to protect them as well as your mate. They all three are special in their own way. The Hawthorne kids will be used to defeat their father. Promise me one thing, that you will do whatever it takes to protect my niece?" What? I didn't know that he was related to them. Just then Raelynne walks in the office, "Unlce Cain!" She jumps into his arms and hugs him. "What are you doing here? When did you get here? Are you a wolf too?" Alpha Cain laughs at her. "My dear, I'm an alpha to another pack." She seems amazed by this. She looks adorable when she asks him questions. I don't know how they are related though, "How are yall related?" I ask bluntly. They look at me like it was obvious, "He's my mothers brother. How did you not see this?" She puts her face in her hands and laughs at me. "Yes, my sister is her mother, so she is my niece. But, Alpha do we have a deal?" He asks me.

"Yes, Alpha Cain. I promise you I will do everything in my power to protect her." As I'm saying this, I walk over to her and put my arm around her waist. "Alright then. I'm going to go and see my sister. I love you Sunshine. Behave and don't get on this mans nerves too much." He pats my shoulder and laughs as he walks out of the office. "Oh my god! You should see your face right now!" She's leaned over laughing at my expression. I can't help but laugh with her. Goddess, I love this woman. She makes me laugh and tests my patience all the time, which makes me completely fall for her.

Raelynne's POV

Looking back at my life, I now realized why uncle Cain never came to visit often. He was busy running a pack of wolves. Which I should hate that they all kept this from me. "So, food?" I ask and pat my stomach. He laughs at me and smiles as he grabs my hand and leads me to the kitchen where everyone is waiting to eat. he grabs food for both of us, "Alright, everyone you can help yourselves. The Luna and I are eating." When he says the Luna and I, I practically m drooling it isn't until Blue tells me that I notice this, Rae, wipe your mouth. You're drooling. Haha

I mentally slap myself in the face, because why am I the way I am... I think I'm falling for this Alpha on my left here. Connor's amazing, he's been this way since I've been at this pack house. "How long have I even been here?" I ask Connor. "Well, you've been here for two weeks. It may not seem like it, because you always end up passing out for a few days, but yes, it's been two weeks."

"Has there been any school?" I'm curios because I always kept my grades up and I don't want to fall behind. "Yes, but you're enrolling in the pack's school so that I can keep my eyes on you at all times." I feel like there's more being said in that sentence than he's actually saying out loud. I just give him a look and he knows what I'm thinking cause he smiles at me like he's done absolutely nothing wrong. "When are we going back to school?" I'm eager to know so that I can get all my studies in order. "We go back Monday. But for now let's focus on the other matters at hand. For example the Binding and Luna ceremony you're having later tonight." My eyes go wide, how could I forget this. S**t. I stand up, "Excuse me everyone, but I need to go get ready for tonight. It's already escaped my mind and I do apologize for this. So, if you'll excuse me." I get up and walk out, but not without Connor on my heels. "Can I help you sir?" I ask him teasingly. This is how I talked to him the first day we met, I think it's pretty funny. "Yes ma'am you can. Tell me where you're going and I may be of service."

He smiles at me, "Can I help with anything?" He asks me. "No Connor, I need to do this on my own with the help of my mom and sister. Now if you'll excuse me Alpha." I say the last word seductively and his eyes grow dark and gives me a low growl. "I'm going to have my way with you later, Luna." He says Luna the same way. And damn does it send shivers down my spine. I get in the room and close the door before I jump him, cause god knows I will. Eventually. "I can feel everything you're feeling little witch", Connor links me. Well screw this. I put my head in my hands and ask him to send up my mother and my sister. Tonight's gonna be wild. And I'm not just talking about the ceremony either, if ya catch my drift.
