Chapter 18

Jace’s P.O.V

As Zach moved to Jess, I could see the twins starting to look around fear, just before I was going to ask them what was wrong, I heard a twig break as I looked over, I saw three wolfs coming out of the shadows. The scent coming off the white and brown sent a shiver down my spine, He was Alpha and a strong one at that I stepped back only for a one of the others wolfs to jump at me growling and snapping it jaws at me, I put my head down trying to show I’m not a threat, but it didn’t move when I looked up I could see that the other two were light browns, I could see that the white and brown wolf has made it way to Zach , He didn’t know to do the white and brown was so much bigger then him, the bigger alpha had his ears down ready for anything that Zach could throw at him. It looked like they were about to fight we got ready to fight back when I heard more wolfs coming, I let out a low growl making Jess look at, it was like the world stop spin everything slowed down as she stared at me, I looked into her eyes and saw nothing, she was not the person I grow up with or my best friend…

I finally broke out of it, I looked up to see three more wolfs walking out of the woods, there was a other Alpha heading towards us, this one was White and Black and the other two wolfs were dark brown as soon as they walked out of the woods the big alpha looked up at the new alpha, it was like they knew each other the way well, the new one then turned around and headed back towards the wood behind a big tree and started to try back in to human form. One of the dark brown wolves went into the woods and grabbed some clothes that were hidden in a brush to the alpha behind the tree. The sound of breaking bone echoed through the woods. Everyone eyes were on the tree waiting for the person to step out, everything was so quiet, and you could hear to wind blowing and trees swaying side to side.

Slowly a person walked out of the shadows, the long shirt covered most of the body, when I finally looked at the face, I was shocked…
