Chapter 16

2 Year Ago,                                                                                              Jace's P.O.V

It was a Friday morning; everyone was tired and ready to go home to relax before the biggest party of the year to start because when it starts it does not end until the alcohol is out and to music dies.

It was second period just before lunch, everyone was doing their own thing, teacher gave up on making everyone listen and only talked to these who were. Only when the bell went you could see life in the room.

“Thank god that is over, I don’t know how much more of that I could had taken, math suck why did you make me go, I could have had taken a nap before the big party. “I said trying to make Jess as I packed up my book.

“Oh, come on it wasn’t that bad, we have to lean it for when we are older plus you did sleep through the class so stop whining and if you’re that tired have a nap when its lunchtime so why not” Jess said as she walked out the door toward the lockers to put the books away.

 Sometimes I think Jess have everything planned out, she wanted to go to big collage in the city as much as she loves the forest, she wants to go so that when she come back, she can help protect the forest and all creatures. Just as we were walking to the cafeteria when we saw the new kid been picked on by the school bullies, the new kid was on the ground with his knee to his chest trying to protect himself, you could see his lunch spilled all of him. I knew right then and there that Jess would not be able to walk away, When the older bully saw Jess, he backed off quickly, he tried to get this mate to back off too, but he would not be listening.

“Hey, you why don’t you leave him alone and go get lunch, I know it Friday and all but come on pull in your hand before you get put in your place.” Jess said as she walked up and offered her hand to the new kid to help him up. The Bully did not like that very much so when the new kid got on his feet, the bully shoved the kid back to the ground then smirked at Jess.

“What are you going to do about its little girl, are you going to run to the teacher and cry about it” The bully said trying to be all tuff like. He walked up to Jess and pushed her. He looked back at his friend laughing but his friend only shook his head. Jess only smile then punched him in the face breaking his nose.
