the shadow in the mirror

I stumbled backwards my heart racing. the message " I am still here "seemed to sear itself into my brain.

I approached the mirror cautiously, and heard a faint whisper ; "look closer"

I peered in again and this time , I saw my own face....but with eyes that were,t mine.

the eyes in the mirror seemed to be watching me , their gaze cold and calculating.i tried to step back,but my feet felt rooted to the spot

suddenly the eyes blinked ..... and my own eyes felt heavy as if they were being forced shut.

I was plunged into darkness and when I opened my eyes again I was no longer alone....

a figure stood beside me its presence making my skin crawl . i tried scream but my voice muffled and distant

the figure slowly turned to face me its features twisting into a grotesque grin and then i saw its eyes the same eyes i ,d seen in the mirror

the figure grin grew wider ."you should not have looked" it whispered .I felt a chill run down my spine as the figure began to fade away leaving me alone ....
