The triplets gave me a concerned look. Ryder's head tilted slightly, his eyes displaying just how curious he was. “We won’t. Tell us,” Blaze urged curiously.
“Well, there was a vampire incident on campus earlier,” I started. “Clearly,” Ryder interrupted but smiled apologetically and gestured for me to carry on.
“Not this. A vampire attacked a girl, and everyone was distracted by it, including Barrett, who was checking the girl’s vitals. So I slipped out because I wanted to find the culprit myself, which led to this,” I mumbled, eyeing the corpse weirdly.
