After returning to her room, Chloe ignored me.
I couldn't tell if she was really angry or just pretending, and soon enough, I fell asleep in a haze.
The next morning, when I woke up, Chloe was already up, packing her backpack in the living room.
"Good morning," I greeted her with a smile.

"That's more like it. I'm off to school." With a haughty tone, Chloe turned and left.
