They were handed a fancy bag filled with what she could guess are complimentary products. And she hurried down to the coffee machine.

Taking a cup of coffee she took the lift to the last floor, she wanted to awe her surroundings one last time before she finally walked out.

She took a sip and she felt her eyes glitter….she didn't think coffee could taste any better, but she was so wrong. She didn't know what was different about the coffee, but she knew that it tasted particularly calming.

Humming, she stepped out the lift and made her way through the door as she tried to book a ride home.

The sky seemed a lot darker than when she came, it was like the rain was about to pour from the heavens. She really forgot to check the weather before stepping out.

‘Tch…no signal’

She muttered as she tried walking around for a bit. The rain began to drizzle as she tried to find a place to stand before it began to pour. The weather was probably interrupting the signal, but it wasn't so hopeless.

Holding her coffee, complimentary package, her phone and her purse filled with her C.V was quite frustrating as the rain was starting to fall heavily.

She bent her head as she tried finding dryer grounds, and suddenly her face landed on what seemed like a thick wall.

She winced as she raised her soaked red face up in anger. They had spilled her coffee. The anger suddenly melted when she saw the tall bodyguards in front of her, armed to the teeth.

“I…. I”

Suddenly the rain and the package was the least of her worries.

“Move”

One of the two bodyguards said, and she immediately frowned.

“You're the one meant to move, you bumped into me”

She said as her face had a sour look, then she bit her tongue, for someone that wants to start a quiet and new life in New York she really talks a lot. Suddenly she didn't care about the amazing and soothing taste of the coffee.

Her frown immediately changed into a cheeky smile as she tried to take back her words

“But I am a bit clumsy, you must be in such a hurry, I'll get out of your way”

She said in one breath as she has a big smile on her face

“Tch”

Then her eyes met with the famous Alexander Black.

He was the Tycoon of the legendary Black family.

His family has been around for ages, taking a storm to the business world by their diamonds. They had branches in every corner of the world and they held the crown of the biggest company of diamonds in the world

His family had a reputation of being so wealthy, that they completely isolated themselves from the outside world, so it's rare to see the entire Black family.

But Alexander was cold. He had a reputation of being extremely picky and silent. And he was a known genius, it wasn't shocking because he was the youngest tycoon produced by the Black's yet.

He didn't spare any moment more as he walked past her. His butler hurried after him with an umbrella over his head as they all disappeared into the rain.

She scuffed at him, New York is still filled with rude people.

She got her ride as she hurried home

“Welcome”

Megan said as she hurdled on the couch.

“You're soaking wet…let me go get you a coffee”

She said as she walked into the kitchen.

She came out holding a towel and a cup of coffee.

“How was today?”

Abigail had been worried about how Raphael got along with the principal.

“Well….. Raphael took the exams and we went out for lunch, he's in bed now”

Megan left out the part that the drove around New York City licking ice cream and tasting various snacks. They workers all melted at the cute sight of Raphael and offered them free snacks.

“The results would be out tomorrow….but enough of me and Raphael, how was today”

Abigail smiled, her day was unbearable, and the mysterious rich man that couldn't even stand the sight of her made it worse.

“I've had better”

She didn't want to go into all the details, she couldn't relieve them again.

“You know that I'm not in a hurry to make you guys leave”

Megan knew that Abigail didn't rest and went out immediately for job hunting because she didn't want to stress her. But it wasn't necessary, she was even happy to have them around.

“And if you can't get a job you can come model for me”

She chipped in too. She had always admired her figure, and it would be a plus if someone asks good looking as her becomes the face of her brand.

“Meg….it didn't go so bad, there is one that I completed to the end and I'd have the results tomorrow”

Megan eyes lit up

“Are you serious Abby, what company is that?”

“Mòn Cliff…”

Megan's mouth dropped

Her friend really shot to the moon, she went for the biggest company in New York.

“You really had an interview with the Mòn Cliff industry”

She was too happy for her friend. That was the company of the Blacks. That company was so untouchable, she didn't even know that it could be accessed.

“Well…..”

She cheekily brought out the complimentary packages and Megan immediately spiraled.

“Ahhhhh”

She couldn't believe her eyes, she was really holding the package by the Mòn Cliff Industries.

“Oh my God, skin care packages, hand wash, liquid soap”

She looked up as she beamed with joy.

She couldn't even provide the names of the brands, she didn't even know that the existed.

“We should sell this and go on a vacation”
