A few days after Leith joined me in our dark prison, we heard the voices and footsteps of our captors and a body sounding like it was being dragged inside. Leith started growling. The cave illuminates some as they come forward with their lanterns. They set them down, then turned back and grabbed what looked like another body. One they hit the light I saw it was Olivia, Leith's mate. They put her in chains like ours next to Leith, but just out of reach of another. What a way to drive mates crazy. One captive can feel the constant burn and pain of betrayal, and the other two are mates that are kept together but not allowed to touch.
