ADAM

I've never felt so alive. I buried my fangs deeper into her neck, sucking in the essence. The music swallowed her moans. Power filled my body, I felt stronger, stronger than I was before the moon goddess cursed me. I breathed out, licking her neck to help the wound heal faster. The feel of her soft skin beneath my tongue was delightful.

I let her go, wiping the remains of blood on my mouth with my hands. She lay on the floor, her mouth opened a little and her eyes wide. This wasn't how I planned to awaken her, having to explain to her that she's a wolf wasn't about to be the highlight of my night.

I offered her my hand, dragging her up to her feet.'' Listen''I started, having no idea how to continue. ''Y-y-you are a...werewolf'' she breathed out, fear gripping her as she backed away. ''We are'' I corrected, stepping forward. ''No! Stay away'' she yelled, running towards the door. I swung my hands to the left, causing the door to slam shut. She trembled, her body shook, tears whelmed at the corner of her eyes.

I shook my head, a small smile spreading across my face. ''You're sick''She exclaimed ''I was'' I replied, running a finger through my lips and remembering how good she tasted. Her eyes widened, she was scared. Good. ''If you hurt me, Ria will tell everyone'' she announced, her nails digging into her palm. ''I'm sure she will'' I chuckled.

Ria didn't like her, she mostly tolerated, same with her. But Ria was jealous, I saw it in her eyes when she saw me staring at Ella.

She would do anything I asked, including keeping Ella's dead body a secret, but after what she did today, it might be her body that might need to be a secret.

''I'm not going to hurt you''I explained but the fear in her eyes showed she didn't believe me. I wasn't expecting her to, I'd just drained any human she had left in her, she would be a fool to believe me. ''I can't hurt you because you're my mate'' I added, taking a few steps closer to her. ''You're sick'' she bit out. ''I'll tell everyone, everyone will find out that you're-'' I ran forward grabbing her neck and pinning her to the wall.

''Listen here, there are two processes in claiming a mate''She stared into my eyes, hers becoming glossy ''One, marking''I grazed my fingers above the mark on her neck, which had completely healed, leaving behind the mating mark.

''Two, mating''I breathed against her neck as she whimpered beneath me. ''So unless you want me buried inside you, you are going to listen to me and stay quiet, do you hear that'' She nods, swallowing back her tears.

I let go of her, taking in a deep breath so I won't go back on my word. I walked back towards my bed, calming my wolf, trying not to think about how good she looked in her little pajama shorts. I sat on my bed, prepared to explain everything to her.

I raised my gaze to look at her and she was gone. I shot up, looking at my door to find the door half opened. She ran out the f*****g doors. ''f**k'' I headed for the doors, using my wolf speed to get to her quicker. She was a wolf now and could be more slicker and quieter, and she was also very fast.

I grabbed her, pushing her to the wall. ''Let me go''She yelled. ''There's a way things go around here'' I pushed her hands above her head, tears whelmed her eyes, already falling off her eyelids. ''I'm your Alpha and you will listen to me ''I bit out, letting my hands caress her thighs*, tugging on her shorts. ''Too bad I'm not a wolf''She bit out through clenched teeth, hatred clouded her eyes.

''Ella''A small voice announced. We both looked to the side, seeing Ria in a black lingerie. ''Let me go or I'll tell her''She whispered. I released her hands and she scurried off, pushing past Ria.

I looked at Ria who was trembling, holding her phone in her hands. I walked towards her, remembering her giving me coffee after dinner. She did it. '' Adam'' she pleaded. ''Who gave you'' I barked at her, and she closed her eyes in fear. ''I'm sorry'' she begged. ''Who told you to do it''I clenched my teeth, thinking of the only person that could have sent her to my house.

''Nobody, I bought it at a pharmacy from a creepy man but I was supposed to get here on time so we could do it but the maid was stalling me, and I'm sorry, it was a terrible mistake'' She blurted out, her body shaking from her tears.

I stared at her confused, but everything clicked. 𝘏𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘵. ''You should be glad I'm not getting you fired, if you try anything like this again, you won't have a job ever again'' I scolded.'' I'm sorry'' she whimpered, slipping a half-filled bottle with purple liquid into my hands.

I accepted it, staring at the bottle ''Get out'' I barked, and she scurried off. I walked slowly towards my room, examining the bottle. 𝘞𝘰𝘭𝘧𝘴𝘣𝘢𝘯𝘦. I dropped the bottle on the table as I mindlinked Raphla and Lyall. 'He's in the city, and He's coming for me'.
