Notes at the inn proved that ghostly activity at room 112 occurred mostly during the summer months, particularly July. Haunted guests heard Bella Rosina sobbing in the middle of the night. Others heard her shuffling feet over the hardwood floor. A dozen or more guests witnessed Bella Rosina’s apparition opening the room’s door, exiting into the courtyard, and fleeing Northshire Inn in the middle night, clouded by hovering mosquitoes. Those terrified guests quickly gathered their belongings and left the inn, claiming insanity.
