I couldn’t believe my ears. My eyes widened as I stared at Matthew, waiting for him to joke and tell me all this was a prank, or he was just pulling my leg. But the look on his face showed that he wasn’t joking. He was damn serious about it.
“Are you kidding me?” I asked in disbelief.
“No, Alpha Edward, I am not,” Matthew responded, and my heart pounded in my chest. My hands suddenly became sweaty, and I looked at Amanda, who had a blank look on her face.
