Zara Thompson, the beautiful only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thompson. Mr. and Mrs. Thompson made a lot of effort to have another child, but all to no avail due to Mrs. Thompson's maternity health. Gynecologist upon gynecologist made several attempts that she got fed up of constant treatments.
Zara had been the dutiful and diligent daughter of Mr. Thompson, who was a business man and an investor. Mr. Thompson was a great husband and father to his family as many of Zara's friends envy her father while she was still in high school. He is the type of man who can do anything for the happiness of his family. His number one joy on this world is his family as he came from a broken home, his devotion to his family is second to none.
The love in their home and how much Zara devoted herself to being studious, obedient, and an excellent student, made joy so fill their home.
Suddenly things began to take a turn when most of his investments began to sink, and this made his business suffer great loss. Friends and relatives who he felt can help him chose that moment to forsake him. His wife Mrs. Thompson also was down with a severe heart sickness. After dragging for her life with the little he had left for about four months, she finally died. This broke him beyond repair that it affected the remnant of his business, and finally went bankrupt. The grief and pain was heart wrecking that he nearly forgot he still had a daughter. He was just so glad that he was not on any loan at the moment.
Zara could not get into the university that year due to lack of funds and moral support from her heart broken father. When he finally consoled himself, things were beyond repair that he and Zara had to take menial jobs to make ends meet and save up for her education. Father and daughter kept pushing till they were finally able to send her to school the following year. They sold their mansion and rented a little apartment downtown.
Days became week, weeks turned month, and months turned year, he kept attempting to get a good job, while doing several part time jobs for the sake of feeding and his daughter's education. He tried his hand on real estate but lack of funds, contacts and sufficient man power kept making the business suffer loss. When he could take it no more he went for a loan and used the supposed company as collateral after much contemplations. The business seem to grow too slowly that the ultimatum of three years that he was given remains just five months to elapse. He had to start returning the money, but the business was not doing well enough to take away that huge amount of money from it, if not the business will suffer loss. He was between two oceans of trouble right now, either his small real estate company is taken over by the bank or he settle the bank and the business go under.
After searching for help from friends and foes and all to no avail, even those that have benefited from him during his time of plenty seems not to know him again. His ship seem to have wrecked and help is not forthcoming.
Depression began to set in to the extent that he was down with a heart attack that nearly took his life if not for the quick intervention of one of his staff. The hospital bill would have caused another issue for him, but his health insurance covered up.
Zara had to quit school to help savage what is left of the company due to her father's ill health, even though she lacked technical know how, she got accustomed to the job role faster than expected.
The workload placed on her young shoulders were really tasking since most of the staffs have resigned to getting a better job. She had to do most of the works by herself and the few staffs left with her.
She finally decided to do some legwork to out their properties offers to the public since most prospective customers feared doing business with them.
