Being left behind is not something new to me. I don't want to admit it, but I am scared. Scared that if that woman did come back again and if she did say that she regrets giving birth to me and my brothers, then I might lose my mind.
I don't want to remember that feeling of abandonment again. It's strange that whenever I am at my weakest point, Aylana is always there for me. Whenever I feel like I might fall, she comes to my rescue with that bright smile of hers.
The best thing about her is that she doesn't even ask the reason why I am feeling down or anything related to my past. Initially, I thought that she didn't care, but with time, I got to know that it's her way to show the other person how much she cares about them.
