Simone's POV
I headed downstairs for breakfast with my mates feeling amazing. I wasn't as sore as I thought I would be after the way Sage and Silas took my body in the shower. Storm was prancing around in my head full of joy. I couldn't help but laugh at her excitement. "There's more to come," she told me. "What do you mean?" I asked her. Silence. "Storm? Storm?" Now she was ignoring me. Maybe she needed to rest. Other than her prancing, that was the most I got from her since last night.
"Good morning Luna," Skyler greeted me when we got to the table. I looked around and there were smiles on everyone's faces around the table. Obviously they could see my fresh marks given by my mates.
"Good morning everyone." I smiled trying to hide my embarrassment from everyone looking at me.
"Don't tease," Sage told them and wrapped his arms around me. He kissed my cheek before we all sat down. Our plates were immediately placed in front of us and the growling of my stomach made me realize how hungry I actually was.
"How long will you be gone?" Luna Samantha asked.
"We'll be back in two days," Silas answered. "We were just supposed to be there for the day to speak with Alpha Quinn but he called this morning saying that the information he has for us may make us want to stay a little longer. I guess he found something useful."
"Beta David and Gama Joshua will hold thing down while we are gone. If you need us for anything just call," Sebastian told them.
After breakfast we went upstairs to pack our bags for our two day trip. I didn't know what to pack so Sebastian packed a bag for me.
"Do you really think I could be related to Alpha Quinn?" I asked.
"It's a possibility," Sage answered. "There has to be more to it though. There's no way Alpha Daniel has his pack members looking for you just because you may be related to Alpha Quinn. Hopefully this trip will help us find everything out.

The drive to Silver Springs Pack was around 3 hours. I was nervous about what we would find out but my mates helped to calm me during the drive. We listened to music and joked around. I had more in common with them than I thought I would since I never really got to do much of anything. They really were my perfect match. They looked alike but they each had different personalities, likes and dislikes. I was at ease when we finally arrived and ready for whatever was to come from this visit.
We pulled up to Silver Springs Pack House and if I thought Dark Sky's was big, they had nothing on Silver Spring's. It looked like they could fit all of their members inside of the house. We got out of the car and out front was a man and a woman who I assumed to be the Alpha and Luna.
"Hello Alpha Quinn," Silas greeted and shook his hand. Sebastian and Sage followed behind with a handshake. "Luna Divine. This is our Luna Simone."
"Hello Alpha Silas, Alpha Sebastian, Alpha Sage. Nice to meet you Luna Simone. We have a room prepared for you and we can meet in the conference room."
We headed to our assigned room and dropped off our bags. Before heading back downstairs, each of my mates gave me a hug letting me know that everything would be ok and they would be right there with me. When we walked into the conference room, there were more people there than I had expected. I thought the meeting would only be Alpha Quinn, his mate, my mates and me but there were a few other women sitting around the table and not all of them smelled like wolves. All eyes were on me when we walked into the room. One person stood out the most because of the way she stared at me. She looked at me as if she saw a ghost.
"Serenity?!" she whispered walking over to me.
"I'm sorry, no my name is Simone."
Alpha Quinn's POV
After the visit from Halfmoon Pack's future Alpha & Beta as well as the call from Dark Sky's Alphas, I started asking questions. Even though for now these accusations about Simone being a member of my family started from a dead man, sometimes there was always some form of truth to rumors. I found out some information about my deceased aunt and a witness who could prove it. The conference room was set up and all we had to do was wait for Dark Sky's Alphas and Luna to get here.
I sat quietly at the table with my breakfast in front of me barely able to eat. Even though I had received so many answers, I still had so many questions that I didn't know whether or not they would be answered since the only ones that could answer them were dead.
"Everything will be ok darling." I looked over and the beautiful smile on the face of my mate and sparks from her touch relaxed me. "Eat darling. It's going to be a long day. But everything will work out as it should."

Once I was notified that Dark Sky's Alphas had reached our territory, I headed out front with my mate by my side. I had never met my aunt because she died way before I was born and my father never wanted to talk about her. I had to dig into his belongings to find any pictures of her. When Simone got out of the car my breath got caught in my chest for a moment. She was the spitting image of my aunt. It was like they could pass for twins. Looking at her there was no denying that she was my family but everyone has a doppelganger somewhere and I needed to be 100% sure. My mate squeezed my hand when Simone got out of the car letting me know that she sees what I see.
Once they went upstairs to put away their belongings away, we headed into the conference room to wait for them. Along with my mate and I were a few witches from my pack that would be able to fill us in on a prophecy that was foretold as well as my aunt's best friend who would be able to tell us if there was some truth to the accusations. I was anxious to know about this prophecy but the witches wanted to wait until Simone was here because they believed her to be the one.
When Simone walked in, all eyes were on her and I could tell she was nervous. Anyone in her situation would be. I didn't know everything but I knew some of what she had been through and I didn't want everyone to scare her away. I was about to tell everyone to be polite and stop staring when my aunt's best friend Mallory slowly began walking over to Simone.
"Serenity?!" Mallory whispered my aunt's name walking over to Simone.
Simone looked at her and began fidgeting. "I'm sorry, no my name is Simone."
"I apologize but you look so much like her," Mallory said. "I didn't mean to scare you."
"Can everyone take a seat," I began. "We have a lot to discuss and I know that many of us want answers to many things."
Once everyone was seated I began speaking again. "We are here today to discuss some information that has been brought to my attention about Luna Simone possible being a member of my family. She is originally from Halfmoon Pack where her parents were killed during a battle some years ago. During that battle it was said that her father was the brother of their Alpha Daniel and my sister Serenity. I don't know much about my aunt's life before her death and I never heard anything of her having a pup. My father is no longer here so I cannot get any information from him. But here with us today is Mallory. She was my aunt's best friend and I am hoping that she can help us fill in the blanks and find out if there is any truth to what has been said. before she begins I would like to remind everyone here that this meeting and everything said here is to not be spoken about to anyone outside of this room. Simone ran away from Halfmoon Pack and they are looking for her. Whether or not she is a member of my family, she is the Luna of our allied pack Dark Sky and her safety is important." Everyone listened and nodded confirming they understood what I said. "Mallory you may begin."
Mallory's POV
I couldn't stop staring at Simone when she walked into the conference room. It was like I was looking at my best friend again. I was happy that she was here and that this story could finally be told. It was a secret that I had been holding onto for way too many years but now it was time for it to finally come out. Had I known all of the things that had happened, I would've spoken up sooner. I just hope that Alpha Quinn wouldn't be too upset that I kept secrets for so long and would forgive me. I also hoped that Simone could find it in her heart to forgive me when she finds out some things also.
"Serenity was my best friend since we were pups. She was the Alpha's daughter and I was just an omega but she never treated me like I was beneath her. Wherever she went, she always wanted me to be there with her, not as her omega but truly as her friend. When I would get picked on, she would always stick up for me. She stood up for everyone. When we started High School, I was nervous because I thought that she would become popular and forget all about me but that never happened. She took me shopping with her for school and even the former Luna made sure I had everything I needed. Serenity always said that I was important to her because I never treated her any different because she was the Alpha's daughter and I wasn't her friend because I wanted something from her. She could tell that I genuinely liked her. Her friendship meant more to me than she knew."
I paused and took a sip of my water before continuing. What I was going to say next was going to be hard for me to relive and I know it was going to be hard for everyone to hear.
"On her 18th birthday there was a mating ball being held. I didn't like attending them because I was afraid of finding my mate. I cried to her about my fear of being rejected because I knew a lot of pack had something against being mated to omegas. Since I hadn't found my mate here, I figured my mate was from another pack and they would reject me. Serenity calmed me down and convinced me to go with her. There were a lot of other packs in attendance. That was the same day that your father Alpha Zack met your mom Luna Justine. What no one knew was that Serenity also met her mate that night. I was with her when she first caught his scent. She was so excited and I was so happy for her. She looked around for him from her seat and decided to wait for him to come to her. She joked that her legs her too wobbly to walk on." I laughed at the memory. "He came over and asked her to take a walk with him and I pushed her to go with him. They way they looked at each other was like from a movie. It was like love at first sight. When she didn't come back after a while, I decided to call it a night and head home. I was only there for her anyway. I was in bed sleeping when I got a mind link from Serenity telling me to please come to the pack house. She never linked me so late at night so that alone made me nervous along with the way she sounded over the link. I threw on some clothes and quietly ran over to the pack house. When I got to her bedroom, she was balled up un a corner, tears streaming down her face, rocking back and forth clutching her chest. I asked her what happened but she wouldn't answer me. It took some time but I finally got her up and into the bathroom to shower. When I asked her again what happened all she kept repeating was mate."
Reliving the memory of my mate so hurt crushed me. That was a day that I never wanted to remember. I had never seen her like that before and having to relive that memory really hurt me. I took a deep breath and continued with the memory.
"I stayed with her all night and by morning she was ready to talk about what happened. She said that when she left me at the mating ball, she and her mate went for a walk around the territory before they headed up to her bedroom. She said he told her everything she wanted to hear but she didn't realize that it was all just a trick. She said that after they mated, he quickly got dressed and rejected her. He told her that he already had a chosen mate and he didn't plan on leaving her. She was devastated and in shock. She mind linked me not long after he left. She made me promise to keep her rejection a secret. She said she felt disgusting and was embarrassed that she fell for him. Even though I tried to convince her that it wasn't her fault, she said she still didn't want anyone to know that she was rejected by her mate."
"Did she tell you her mate's name?" Alpha Quinn asked.
"Yes. It was former Alpha Damien of Halfmoon Pack."
"Alpha Daniel's father?" Alpha Quinn asked.
"Yes."
