Simone's POV Alpha Quinn and Luna Divine walked back into the room with another girl behind them. She looked around nervously before taking a seat. "Sorry for the interruption," Alpha Quinn began. "This is Mirabel. She came to us to warn us that there is danger ahead." "What kind of danger?" I asked. He looked at me and my mates before looking at Mirabel. He opened his mouth the speak but before he could, Mirabel interrupted. "Alpha if I may?" He nodded hiss head giving her the ok to speak. "Hello my name is Mirabel. I know that you don't know me and have no reason to trust me but please believe that I am being honest in what I say. The girl from the prophecy is in danger. I was sent here by my mother to kill her but instead I came here to speak with Alpha Quinn to warn him." All three of my mates stood from their seats letting out a loud growl when Mirabel spoke. I could see and smell the fear radiating off of her. "Please calm down Alphas," Alpha Quinn stood from his seat. "She truly means no harm. She is betraying her own mother and put her own life in danger to warn us/" I reached out to my mates and grabbed each of their hands trying to calm them down. Sebastian grabbed me and sat in the chair while sitting me on his lap. Silas and Sage pushed their chairs closer so they could keep their hands on me calming not only them but me as well. Why would someone want me dead? I've never done anything to anyone. Mirabel began to explain to us what she knew of the prophecy and what her mother sent her to do. Thankfully her mother didn't know how I looked and it was also a shock to her that the prophecy had began to pass since she had been keeping track of the Silver Springs Pack alpha offspring. She obviously knew that Alpha Quinn's daughter wasn't of age to find her mate so I was a complete mystery to her. "We could use her not knowing who Simone is to our advantage," Silas said. "It's a messed up situation but in a way Simone being at Halfmoon instead of here may have inadvertently saved her life. Had they know she existed then they would have kept a close eye on her all of these years." I thought about it and he was right. My grandmother's rejection, her death, my father's vendetta, no matter how devastating all of these things were had kept me away from the witch's eyes. If I truly was the girl from the prophecy then maybe I could make it come to pass and we could also catch the witch. "Ok so what exactly is the prophecy?" I asked. "If it has began, I must have done something to get it started. What more do I have to do?" "That's the thing," Alpha Quinn said. "No one knows exactly what the prophecy says. It was never written. My dad always said that it was safer that way but I don't know why." I was confused. "If we don't know what the prophecy says then how do we know that there is one? How do we know when it has passed?" "We will know," one of the witches answered. "The wording of the prophecy has remained hidden for safety. The elder witches didn't want anyone to purposely try to prevent the prophecy from coming to pass or try to push it in their favor in any way. When I was a little girl I loved to watch my mother and grandmother doing magic. One day a few of the elder witches came over to my house and I just knew they were going to be working on something big. I was so excited and had to see what they were doing but my mom wouldn't let me. She made me leave the room but I had already started getting some of my powers and found a way to listen in to what they were doing. Of course my mother caught me and used something to wipe what I had heard from my memory. Over the years bits and pieces of the prophecy have been coming back to me but never in full. Its always jumbled but maybe with the few words I do know maybe we can try to figure out what it is that needs to be done." I listened to her intently and shook my head. I'm sure with all of us sitting here we could figure it out. "It's almost dinner time," Alpha Quinn said. "I know this has all been a lot to learn. If everyone is ok to continue tonight, we can after dinner. Or we can resume tomorrow after breakfast." Everyone looked at me. I guess because my life was the one in danger and I'm the one that basically held the key to everything, they wanted me to be the one to decide. "I think we should resume in the morning if that's ok." Alpha Quinn nodded and we all got up to head to dinner. Hopefully a good night's sleep would help me prepare for what I will learn tomorrow. Mirabel's POV These wolves have been so kind to me and I'm still amazed. They're nothing like my mom said they were. Ok yeah they were a bit scary but I'm sure they were just being protective. After dinner, Alpha Quinn told me that he had a room set up for me and an omega will show me where I would be sleeping. Before going to my room for the night I walked over to the Alpha. There has been something on my mind since I got here and I knew he would be the one to answer my question. "Alpha Quinn may I ask you a question?" "Sure what's on your mind?" "Am I related to you?" This all started because a member of my family was jealous of her sister. Both sisters are my family so I wonder if that makes the Alpha my family as well. "In a way you are," he said smiling at me. "And we protect our own." Luna Divine gave me a hug before smiling at me before they walked away. Her warmth flowed through my body giving me a foreign yet relaxing feeling. I haven't been hugged like this since my father died. Walking to the room that was assigned to me, I walked past a few of the pack members happily engrossed in conversations with their friends and mates. The look in the eyes of the males something that I had yearned for. I want someone to look at me as if I was the only one that existed. for their love for me to just radiate off of them. Living such a sheltered life with my mom, I had no contact with any males. I envy the mate bond that the wolves have. To find the perfect match for yourself and to feel that love. Walking up the stairs, I bumped into Simone and her mates before going into my room. I can't believe she has three mates. How does that even work? It must be explosive. To have three males love, desire and protect you with all that they have. "Mirabel," she said stopping me. "Thank you so much for coming here to help us. Before finding my mates, I had no one and now I have so many people looking out for my well being. I know this must be difficult for you." "It my pleasure to help. Yes it would be difficult for most to betray their own mother but mines has never really been much of a mother to me. Her desire for revenge and power has made her a stranger to me. Plus she killed my father who was the most important person in my life." She nodded and her eyes misted like she was fighting tears. Something in me wanted to comfort her but I held back not wanting her mates to think I was trying to hurt her. "Come on love, time to rest," one of her mates said to her. "I'll see you in the morning Mirabel." And with that she turned and continued up the stairs with her mates. I walked into my bedroom and was in awe at the sight before me. There was a soft queen sized bed with light blue bedding. There were two doors to the right of the room and a dresser to the left. It was a basic guest room with the necessary things but it was the most beautiful room I had ever seen. My bag had already been place in here for me. I walked over and sat on the bed which had the softest mattress I had ever felt. I never wanted to leave it. I gathered my things and walked over to the bathroom to prepare for bed. I don't know what will happen tomorrow but I have a feeling that I'm going to need to be well rested for it. Alpha Quinn's POV "Well this has been quite the day my love," my mate said to me. She climbed into our bed and laid her head onto my chest. "Yes my love and it has left me in fear of what is to come." While happy to find out that my aunt not only had a child that lived but her granddaughter also happens to be the one to make the prophecy come to, I could not help but be in a bit of fear. I know that with all of the good comes some challenges to be faced. The arrival of Mirabel confirmed for me that danger was indeed coming. "We will face it together," she looked up at me and smiled be fore kissing my lips then laying back down. I feel her breaths evening out letting me know that she was sleeping while I was up thinking. Taking in her scent I closed my eyes and tried to get some sleep. Tomorrow would be an even longer day for us. ****************** The next morning Divine and I were the first to arrive in the conference room. Breakfast would be served there for us since we were likely to be in there most of the day. The next to arrive was Mirabel. She walked nervously into the room and took a seat. "Good morning Alpha, Luna," she greeted us. "Good morning," we greeted her back. "How did you sleep?" Divine asked her. "Better than I have in a long time. Thank you for your kindness." After a while everyone started coming in. The last to arrive were The triplet Alphas and Simone. After everyone greeted each other we began to discuss what the prophecy was. Trying to put our heads together figuring out what it meant with the few lines my aunt could remember. The girl born from love, yet shown no love To remain pure of heart Rejected on her 18th and begin anew Fully marked and mated So far those were the only words my aunt could remember. So far we believe that these few lines are from Simone's beginning. Her parents were in love when they had her then when they dies she became the pack servant and was no longer shown any love. She was rejected on her 18th birthday only to be found by her new mates. "I'm already marked," Simone said. "And I was a virgin when we mated so there's that part of the prophecy. So what more could there be?" "I think the purity may not be just that but who you are. You seem like a kind person." "What more need to be done then?" she asked. We continued discussing until lunchtime. We also talked about plans that we would need if there should be a battle. We agreed that our packs would increase their training and Simone would also begin training. I'll have a witch cast a protection spell around both packs.. "My mother doesn't tell me everything so I think we should also be cautious of who knows about who Simone is and what's going on. We can't risk the chance of her possibly sending someone else when she doesn't hear from me," Mirabel said. "She doesn't know that I'm not from this pack so I'm safe at home," Simone said. "But Mirabel is right," I told them. "Only the people in this room should know what's going on."
