Chapter 7



As always, I was at the club. I had this feeling that the beautiful girl before me was the same girl. Except differently. She had a lot of secrets she hadn't been told. Which was fine. I was led to the vip lounge like everyone else before me.

Time continues to pass. After people are in a deep thought, their stomach starts to growl. The strangers try to hold their laughter. One of them checks the food and drink. They were checking if there was any poison in them. You never know. It has become clear. After that, the little boy came close to the table. The three help pick up food to put on the plastic plate. After that, they slowly approach the two people. The little boys weren’t alone. Their mommy’s friends protect them from danger.

Daniel Walter walks up to a man. He had feelings in his heart that this man was his daddy. Can you guess who it was? If you did, you're his new friend. That’s right. His daddy was none other than Daniel Wu. Daniel Wu couldn’t figure it out yet. It was best if he didn’t know. Since he did tell the girl who was once Joseph Steward's girlfriend. That he would abandon the girl and the baby and not talk to them. That was a mistake he would remember.

He knew he only said that. It wasn’t directly at the girl herself. It was more of Joseph. He didn’t want him to find out that he was attracted to his girlfriend. He could tell the girl was innocent. He was happy all the time when the girl greeted him excitedly. After a couple of minutes passed, everyone’s stomach was full. The three little boys went to their mommy’s side. The air became intense. And no one was talking. Especially since Nene Li and Sophia Wong came back to the club.

Others think they have a death wish. Their boyfriends couldn’t stop them. Now they are afraid of their own lives because of their girlfriends. Which was Nene Li and Sophia Wong. There were sounds of weapons. It was as if these people were sharpening the sharp objects. There on the flat table. They saw kitchen knives, machetes, hammers, ninja stars, chain saws, etc. They were all sharpened. And they were touched by the fire.

The beautiful girl was sitting up. She was eating beautifully. While her friends will be the one talking. She could tell these renlei (humans) aren’t worth her time. She glanced at the group of her friends. They nodded in her direction. They took a deep breath. The girl’s friends got popcorn ready. They were excited about watching a movie. But Renlei doesn’t know what’s going on. They had their eyes on the floor. They were afraid to stare at them. Afraid they would get stabbed.

After minutes passed, people came back. There was tension in the air. It started to become like this when Nene Li and her boyfriend came back. She’s making a scene as always. So did Sophia Wong. They were both gulping. They didn’t get to eat. Sophia and Nene didn’t care. They did what they wanted. The girl knew what was going on. She was on high alert. Her friends were too. Nene and Sophia walk normally. They act like they are getting food. That’s what their friends see. But they were wrong.

When they were close to them, they grabbed the knife to s***h and stab the little boys. The boy’s mother was close to her sons. They didn’t know that. With quick thinking, she grabbed her three sons without hurting them. She caught all the fallen food that her children were eating. There was no spill. Brandon and the others had their jaws dropped. Not literally, but to them they look shocked.

“ Now Now. What are you guys trying to do ? “

The girl asked nicely. However, all she got was a glare. It was meant for her.

As that was happening, Sophia and Nene looked at each other. They were mad. They weren’t able to lay their hands on the little boys. The girl knew ahead of time. The girl’s friends grab the food again. They didn’t like food being spilled or wasted.

‘ Are they crazy? Do both of them want their death wish early? ‘

Brandon heard someone say that in a quiet tone.

In the meantime, the stuff that was near the wall was pushed aside. Katilyn and Kim had the three boys by their side. Katilyn and her friends sigh and here. They didn’t want any blood spilled. Not in front of children. But that won’t happen any time soon. The girl just pretends to be naive. Sophia starts to laugh. She thought she would win it. Trevor thought so too. Nene didn’t care. She wanted to kill the girl who she was referring to as a b***h. They both got the girl corner in the wall. The girl pretends to be scared. But she wasn’t. She was excited.

“ Look Nene, the b***h is scared. We got this “

Sophia Wong said to Nene. She was encouraging her.

“ Joseph, your ex-girlfriend doesn’t seem like she could defend herself. “

“ I’ll be glad if she did die. I wouldn’t care if I was the witness who saw it all. It’s not like no one will believe what those people say “

Trevor said out loud for everyone to hear. Naomi looked at him again. Everyone knew that Naomi would side with Trevor. Since Trevor is her boyfriend as usual. On the other hand, everyone was laughing. Especially the people who had tattoos on their bodies.

The girl spoke gently for everyone to hear.

Since she could see the moves that Sophia and Nene were doing. She saw Sophia doing some kind of stand like you see in martial arts. Nene did the same. They both swung their arms together. But the girl dodged it instantly. Instead, both of them hit the wall. Both of their knuckles start to crack. Since they heard a crack sound.

“ I forgot to mention this room here, especially because the walls are made of metal. So if you try to hit the wall at that kind of level well — “

The girl tries her best to explain to them. But instead, she got a murder stare from Sophia and Nene.

The girl made one hand stand beautifully. She was standing in the middle behind them. In a few seconds, the girl was wearing black gloves. She could tell Renlei to count the numbers.

“ 1 … 2 … “

The girl took a quick glance of who it was counting. And it was none other than Trevor Ling.

Trevor was mad. He saw the girl being laid back. He saw her just looking at the side of the door. He saw that she was checking something. He didn’t know any better. As for the girl, she could hear footsteps from a mile away. It was recognizable.

Sophia was mad. She saw the girl just yawning as if she was bored. Nene also saw it. She was mad. Both their boyfriends try to stop them.

“ Babe, you must stop this at once. You’re going to regret it. “

Sophia and Nene’s boyfriend said to them. They didn’t listen to them.

Nene tries to kick using her strength. The girl stopped it. She saw Sophia try to throw punches. It was a weak punch. She dodged them all. She wasn’t tired. The girl took notice of their plan instantly. They were trying to make the girl tired. But they made themselves tired.

Trevor continues to count out loud.

When he did that, the girl heard others coming close to the door.

“ Let’s end this now ! “

The renlei (humans) heard someone say that. When they did, they couldn’t believe their eyes.

Trevor counts up to that number only.

Sophia’s friends looked up. They were shocked. Their eyes widened. Others who saw it were stricken with fear. The door was slammed wide open. The girl didn’t take her eyes off of Sophia and Nene. To her, she had both of their feet tied up tightly with rope. Not only that, she had tied both of their hands with rope tightly. So they wouldn’t escape.

Their faces were pushed close to the wall. It was hard. And they had sharp knives being pushed against their necks. If they move, Sophia and Nene would be the ones to feel their knives pierce through their skin. Out came from the door was the third bouncer. He brought two more renlei (humans). It was Phillip Greyson and James Wu. They weren’t surprised. They knew who she was instantly. It wasn’t new to them.

Phillip starts laughing. Because his friends didn’t know anything. James didn’t want to laugh at their stupidity. When they both walked up to the girl, they were about to bow towards her. But she stopped them.

“ Don’t do that. How was your girlfriend, Phillip Greyson? What about yours, James Wu? I’ve heard that Kresta Ting was —- “

The girl spoke to them in a friendly tone of voice.

Everyone was shocked. Even Joseph Steward and Daniel Wu. No one knew about James’ girlfriend besides them. Everyone knew who Phillip’s girlfriend was. And when the girl mentioned Kresta, James's girlfriend, everyone was turning heads. First was Joseph Steward. And then next was Daniel Wu. They both have the same reactions.

James was looking at Phillip. Phillip was looking at James. They both nodded after their sight. They were disappointed at what their friends said and did. They saw it broadcast live.

James said to the girl. His voice was cracked. He was sad for her.

The girl asked her children. They smile sweetly at them. Phillip and James weren't surprised like the others were. They were laid back. The little boys ran up to them. The maids and butler were happy.

The maid and butler spoke in unison. And they both left.

Other renlei (humans) want to know why people are calling the girl all this. Before she could answer, different colored pigeons came. It landed on her. She grabs it and responds to them. The pigeons disappear.

The girl answered for them.

Sophia’s friends try not to laugh at it. Their boyfriends try not to laugh at their stupidity. The girl took a deep breath. Even though she kept her eyes on them, her mind was somewhere else. Let’s see what she thinks.

The Girl’s POV

Why do I have to go through this again? I’m seeing Sophia Wong and her friends in this club. Yeah, the club that I started to open with my hard work and sweat. They didn’t know who the owner of the club was. I watch them making a scene. A scene to try to get my friends in trouble. And have them fire. But they were wrong. And their families will be ashamed of it. I do not want to explain who I am. No one is worth knowing. Sophia thinks that she could hurt my children. And she thinks she’s ready to be in a committed relationship. Even when she has a boyfriend already. But she cheats and lies towards Daniel Wu. I shook my head in disbelief.

I knew there was something wrong with her head. She needed to go to a mental hospital. She’s not mentally stable. She even tried to make my life hell in the past. She even tries to get two people whom I trusted before to side with her. It always works. That’s why I do not trust them. Even though those two believe them, I trust them. But they were wrong.

The girl sighted once more. The girl saw Sophia Wong and Nene Li on the floor. She remembered telling them what “ renlei “ means in Chinese. Her friends got things ready on the table. The girl said to the cleaning people. She pointed at Renlei being tied up and two other girls who weren't tied up. The cleaning people didn’t question her. They were doing their job. They start to throw cold water at the people who they consider bad men to them. Then, they throw cold water at two human females. They didn’t want to know their names.

There was screaming altogether. It was music to their ears. Which was the girl and her friends. Her friends who she remembers and were loyal to her. She nodded to them. The cleaning people nodded back at her after they bowed towards her out of respect.

“ Why would an ugly b***h like you bow towards you? You’re not even pretty. You don’t have big boobs. You don't have a big butt to show. That’s why these men cheat on you. “

A voice spoke. It came towards the direction of the renlei side. The way he spoke he made a dramatic gesture from his hands as he was pointing at his friends. The girl sighs. She knew he wasn’t worth her time. She looks over her loyal friends.
