The hospital room was dim.
The gray blue curtains were tightly closed, blocking out the outside light.
When Cain heard the door open, he immediately turned his head. The moment he saw me, his eyes lit up with excitement.
He shouted until his voice became hoarse. "Isabella, I'm not crazy! Hurry and untie me!"
I smiled as I walked toward him. I looked down at his face, raised my hand, and slapped him hard.
"Shut up. You're so noisy."
Cain's eyes widened in disbelief. "Isabella, you dare hit me?"
I slapped him again. My hand hurt from the impact, so I massaged it afterward.
"You're a piece of trash who will never have children. Who do you think you are to order me around?"
