Not Anymore

Prologue

"Hello Mr Kyler" she  said without any emotion on her face. "Hey Scar" He said smiling genuinely at her to which she frowned and replied with a little smirk on her lips" It's Miss Cardone or Scarlet for you", had she been the teenage girl she was 5 years ago  she would have been all flustered listening to the nickname his close family people used to call, she didn't miss the painful look in his eyes while she mentally roll her eyes thinking him playing victim, but he quickly gave her a small smile. Their little verbal exchange didn't go unnoticed by her brother,also his best friend  and his girlfriend, who happens to be be her best friend,ironical right but yes had he not broken her heart 5 years ago he would have been her's or even married just like her brother who is not only his best friend but also her bestie's  boy friend. She shrugged it off and went to enjoy the party and meet rest of her family   whom she had missed for 5 years                                                                                             But little did she know about one of the two reasons for which she was being called. What will she do when she has to work with the person she despise the most or what she had thought? What will happen when her past continuously comes in front of her face after meeting him again? And what will happen when she sees a living proof of his betrayal in front of her eyes almost everyday? Will she be able to compose herself or all her secrets, heartbreak, pain and internal tortures comes in front of her family? And this was the reason she had never spoken about him to anyone not even her brothers nor her bestie because she knew that would lead not only chaos but also many things will be at stake-her elder brother and his sister's marriage, his and her second brother's friendship.
