Rebecca's POV
To be very honest, the snake heaven looked mesmerizing but I was glad I could finally get out of there. That place was beautiful, no doubt about that, but it had something eerie at its core. Specifically, the gigantic tree at the centre. It was giving me some weird vibes.
But I didn't have time to brood over that. Blaze was already at the dock, waiting for us and we were being chaperoned there.
There was a detachable ladder which we needed to climb, to make our way to the port side of the vessel. Miranda hopped on without any problem and then it was my turn. Before I could take my first step, I saw Stephanie, staring at me from the right side.
" What on earth are you doing here? "
