The huge, lavish wooden door creaked open as Blaze pushed his way inside. The lights were switched off in his bedroom, except for the candles that cast a translucent shadow over Rebecca's face as their wicks danced in the cool breeze. The windows were open. The lavender curtains flowed like innocent waves, brushing against the pillows where Rebecca's head was tilted. The room was cold, she was all curled up. Her hair fell all around her like a cascading waterfall. Her neck was slanted backwards. She must have dozed off while sitting in the corner of the four-poster bed. Her lips quivered as if she was talking with someone in her dream. A smile crossed Blaze's lips as he locked the door behind him.
