The city looked quite unfamiliar, from before. Mike was on the verge of the road. He just needed some fresh air, and some time, to think. He dragged out his phone. The side screen was quite broken. Well, the hastiness was too much. He dialed the number, the tone was artificial. Well, what wasn’t? Everything was covered up in artificiality, just to escape the truth. The phone rang. The voice from the other side was stiff, 'Hello?' He said, 'Hey, Bruno.' The voice was tensed, 'Mike?' He replied, 'Yeah, it’s Mike.' The voice sighed, 'Gosh! I was so worried, man. Where are you? Man, I didn’t have your number. You should have at least called me.' He sighed, 'Yeah, I know, I'm sorry. I need to talk to you, urgently. Are you home now?'
