SOFIA POV Its been more than an hour that I have been ransacking my wardrobe to pick a cloth.  Today is Friday and perhaps my best day of the week. I only have just a lecture after which I will attend jummah prayers before coming back home. Today is the only day of the week that I comfortably put on my best clothes because that's obviously the cliché in my school. Everyone in its best on Friday. The TGIF code. I finally decide to wear a White gown with blue stripped which most people have always admired on me asking me how I got it. I looked around my room and saw the mess I have caused, (I can bet on this that I am not the only one guilty of messing the room up while trying to select a piece of clothings) . it took me half an hour to clean up the mess, I dressed up, applied powder, mascara and nude lipstick which is my best. I switch off all electrical appliances before setting out. Though I didn't eat breakfast.  I walk down my regular route to get a bus to the university and just then I saw a Camry muzzle parked in my front. Hey young lady, are you going to the campus, I heard the voice and I looked up to see the owner of the car to be Dr Fawas, good morning Sir, I greeted back . I am going to the campus. Hope in, he offered and I opened the car and sat in the front  with him. Are you not the young lady who came to my office sometimes ago, sent by your HOD, he enquired and I nodded in acknowledgement. And at that moment it occurred to me what his next question maybe which he didn't surprised me either.  But why did you dash out of my office in that manner, he asked and I replied with the lie I composed in my head few seconds back. Sir, my laptop was at the ground floor with no one to watch over it for me. And yes he seems satisfied with my answer. He further ask me my name, level and some necessary biography to keep us chatting through the short drive. We arrived at the faculty just few minutes to the start of my lecture. I help Dr Fawas in carrying his bag to his office before proceeding to the lecture room. Is been two hours of me being in a class without assimilating anything. The man is fond of  repeating his life story  in class and I seems to know his life history by heart. He could be said to be the most boring lecturer I have ever met. Most of my colleagues seated at the back of the class has been to the dream island and returned. The moment he announced his intention of exiting the lecture room, no one feels better than me, as if a burden was relieved off me. I decide to take a short nap pending the time for jumat prayer. Sofia wake up, are you not going for prayer. This was the familiar voice that I heard and I jerked up to see my friend Teni, staring at me in a astonished manner, are you not going for prayer, she repeat. I am madam and I peeped at my watch to notice I was just 15minutes away. Why didn't you wake me up on time. Oh, I mumbled, time is gone. I quickly dash downstairs , get a sachet water from the faculty store, made my ablution and trek to the faculty entrance to await the next campus shuttle to take me to the university mosque After like 3minutes, I decide to start trekking hence it is just 5minutes walk. Why are you walking in the sun Sofia. I heard a familiar voice speak to me as a different Camry car parked beside. I looked in and saw Dr Fawas in the front seat with what?, am I seeing well. OMG
