SOFIA POV

Having noticed my crush driving the car, I paused for a few seconds before finally accepting the offer to follow them to mosque. I opened the car and took the back seat, And Dr Fawas quickly engage me in a conversation, Sofia, how was your lecture, and thanks for the morning. Fine Sir, I replied . meet my friend Dr  Faruk, he is also a lecturer in our faculty but has been away for a while now in San Francisco for his post doctoral program, welcome Sir, I greeted my crush with a bow which I don't think he noticed because he seems lost in his driving, I am Sofia, a 200level mass communication student in this institution, I introduced myself and he just replied with a nod and a smile. Our drive was a short one and as we dropped I heard him call my name, Sofia, join us back when we are returning. Wow, I beam with smile. My crush finally notice me.

After the prayers, I hurried briskly back to their car and saw them approaching about 5metres away from me, my crush came forward and opened the front seat for me instead of the backseat, I tried to ask why but saw Dr Fawas taking the backseat already. OK what is going on was the thought that occupied my mind immediately. The journey back was quiet all through with me stealing quick glance on my crush all from time to time. The awkwardness was quite obvious so I played along. As we approach the faculty, my crush said he needs me to help him get some refreshment at the cafeteria and bring it to his office which he described to me and also added that he hopes I won't run away like I did in his friend office sometimes back and they both burst into laughter. I was super embarrassed, I had forgotten he was in his office that day. We arrived the faculty and i dropped from their car after saying Thank you to them both and  collecting money to get my crush some snacks. I dashed away like a hare and could hear their laughter from afar

I knock on his office door after buying the snacks and I heard a voice telling me to come in, I entered and met him busy with his laptop, hey Sofia, you are back. Thanks so much, mind if I take your number he requested. Though I acted reluctantly but deep down my heart I was eager to give him. I called my contact which he typed and immediately gave me a call. That's mine, kindly save he said and I took my exit. 

FARUK POV

After dropping her at the mosque, I faced my friend and asked, is that one of your babes, Mr bachelor for life, just to know their relationship. And Fawas replied, No, I met her the same day you did though I have been seeing her around the faculty, it is just today that we talked. I actually have interest in her friend and not her, but why are you asking. At this junction, I decided to be open with my friend, actually I seems attracted to her. I kinda like her, I told him. My friend replied, shoot your shot then but remember you are married unlike me. Don't play with her heart if you are not serious about it. He advised.

We arrived at the mosque, say our prayers and he advised he switch to the backseat so that I can talk to her which he did, initially I don't know what to say once our drive back start but my friend kept on signalling at me till I finally find my courage and request that she buy me some snacks just to get opportunity to talk to her in private. As we dropped and she dash away like the first time, my friend and I couldn't help but laugh. I love her childish ways, and her angelic voice, very tiny. I went back to my office to await her arrival, did some quick rearrangement, spayed air fragrance and settled on my seat forming the serious lecturer. I composed myself after hearing her knock, I ask her in and quickly ask for her contact forming JJC who doesn't really relate with a lot of students and I hit jackpot, she gave me her contact and left.

I am extremely happy and dancing alone for like 15minutes after she left. Now I am more settled, should I call her, what will I say to her. No, not now, will do that later. I smiled at myself feeling fulfilled for the day.
