“Hold on,” She told him and pulled her hand away from his and then glanced at the restaurant they had just stepped out from and he looked at her. “I forgot something in there and would be right back.” She told him as she pointed back at the restaurant and Steve blinked.
“Umm… Eugenia, this isn’t one of your tricks to run away from me, is it?” He asked her but she didn’t respond with the answer.
“Wait here, I will be right back, so you just have to trust me in order for me to trust your and your intentions.” She said the words and turned to head back into the restaurant and Steve watched her and he kept his eyes on the entrance door to ensure she wasn’t trying to fool him.
