Oh, my Goddess, I’m holding fire... Rosemary, I’m holding fire in my hand.
I see that Safiya.
You knew we could do that.
I thought I could just manipulate the air.
I looked out at my hand looking at my palm watching the fire dance in my hand. I see the red, orange, and blue hues dance in my palm so more.
Then I thought...
Rosemary, he could have been teaching me this… this whole time.
Anger took over and then the fire was everywhere on my body. But I was not burning. My anger only fueling the fire more.
“You could have taught me this whole time and did nothing!” I say and I throw the fire towards him. He caught with ease and I watch as the fire dissipates.
“YOU!” I throw more fire.
“COULD! HAVE!” Then I mixed it with my air power to create a bigger flame and throw more.
I noticed Harlequin out, but he stops before he reaches us. I threw more and more flames at Isaac. He took each with mastery, fueling my anger even more.
“TAUGHT!” Anger taking over more, I noticed another power, the power to manipulate the earth. I felt the ground rumbling beneath me.
“ME!” More pack members headed out to see the chaos I’m causing. Now I’m throwing parts of the ground with my flames.
“THIS!” My anger dissipates a little and sadness a hold over me. I stopped throwing my flames and the ground beneath us stops rumbling.
“THIS!” Tears are falling down my face. More flames dissipate.
“WHOLE!” My vision is blurry now.
“f*****g!” I drop to the ground.
“TIME”! I put my knees to my chest. Feeling like I was almost 10 years ago.
“I could have protected everyone close to me before,” I say in a whisper, my vision still blurry with tears falling down my face. My face in my knees.
I feel arms wrap around me in a tight hug. I take a sniff and the scent of cotton candy is all that smell. I sob more. Then, I smell lavender, Naiomi. She wraps me in a hug with Harlequin. These are the only people to try and help me.
“I’m sorry I didn’t tell you sooner.”
Nothing. I feel numb.
I noticed that Isaac’s eyes look foggy as I looked up. Someone was mind linking him. Then he looked down, I saw the sadness in his eyes.
“Alpha Levi needs to speak to you in his office,” Isaac says.
I get up slowly and walk towards the packhouse. The crowd that formed from the chaos that I caused parted letting me pass by. I walked to the door and into the mansion of the packhouse and headed to Uncle Levi’s office. Nerves and anxiety coursing through my veins as I walk. It feels like an eternity of walking when it was only about five minutes.
Knock-Knock
“Come in.”
“Hello, Alpha Levi.”
