He made a decision quickly in looking at Dr Alain with determination he said

" I want to stay hidden till I get my memory back. I also need to get a job for my upkeep and also to take care of Celine and her mother as a means of showing my gratitude to them " .

"okay, finish up so we can go back to the hospital for the results" Dr Alain conclude.

after they had finished lunch, they went back to the hospital for the remaining results. seeing the results it was concluded that nothing is wrong with the young man expect for his memory loss which maybe due to the blood clot or phycology reaction.

on their way out of the hospital Dr Ann rushed up to them " Dr Alain there is an emergency, Dr Mark needs you to go up to take a look " looking at Dr Alain with determination to bring him up probably an instruction from Dr Mark to bring Dr Alain up no matter what it takes.

with a frown on his face Dr Alain was about to refuse but he remembers he had just asked for Dr Mark's help earlier he agreed reluctantly.

" you can wait here in the hospital for me or you can just go to check the town out and do come back soon so we can go home"

leaving this words Dr Alain left with Dr Ann leaving poor guy not to know what choice to choose.

but then he decided to go out to look around for potential jobs.

there were lots of activities going on in the street, he starts looking around taking in the sight. some vendors shouting and looking for customers, some buyers bargaining with the seller, children playing around and beggars looking for someone who will pity them enough to give them something to eat for that day, there are also children who look homeless and hungry, the clothes on them are worn, also in a corner there are some boys gathering together in twos looking for an easy prey to steal from. he walked forward and he saw an old man struggling to stand up, around him were the groceries he had bought shatter around him some stray dogs had eaten some, greedy humans took some for themselves instead of helping the old man up.

He rushed to the old man and helped him settle down on the bench nearby,

"are you alright sir? he asked

" young man, thank you, I'm alright now that you are here." the old man smiles at the young man he was very grateful to him as he was the only one who offers to help

He went back to collect together some of the stuff that remains " here are the remaining ones the rest had been damaged." he said and continued " are you injured anywhere? Do you need to go to the hospital?" he asked

" no, I'm fine, thank you for asking. I don't need to go to the hospital, but I do indeed need to go home or my children will be worried." he replied

" where do you stay, I will take you there " he offered to help the old man home which pleased the old man a lot

" my daughter lives in the avenue 4, just three streets away I stay with her and her husband." the old man said

when they got to his house they saw a woman in her late 30s pacing left and right, looking up she saw the old man she was first shocked then angry

" Dad! where were you, we have been looking all over for you!" she said and continued " my husband has gone out to look for you, are you alright?" she asked

" oh, I'm fine thanks to this young man " he said and continues " also, I just went out to get some things as both you and your husband are busy these days. I don't want to stress you guys out."

"Come inside" she said while gesturing with her hands to invite them into the house " my name is Rose and he is my father" she said pointing at the old man and continues " we brought him from the village since no one is there to take care of him, i and my husband are both busy here in town it will be easy to take care of him. what is your name young man? she asked after they had settled down in the living room.

the room consists of two single sitter chairs, one double sitter, a tea table at the center, a TV, and gramophones. this shows that this family are well to do as not all average families have TV set and gramophones, even some rich family may not be able to afford the two but one.

" Lucas, my name is Lucas" he answered. earlier Celine had given him the name Lucas as he couldn't remember what his name was.

" let me make some tea for you Lucas, my husband will soon be back " Rose said. she and her husband had agreed earlier that he will be back home around 4 if he still can't find the old man so that they can look for him in other areas as it is now 3:55.

As she left the living room to make tea the old man started chatting with Lucas "my son-in-law works as a director of two or more companies... my daughter is a manager in one of them, I'm often left at home but what can I do here?, it is not like the village where I can go to farm" he lamented.

" here is your tea " Rose gave the tea to Lucas and her father she has one too as she sits down she said, " father we bring you here not to work but to rest,you are old and should have retired" the old man is over 60 years, he had his daughter at his later years and she is his fourth child.

"hump..." the old man grumps " I'm not that old I can still do thing, it is so boring to just stay at home" he said with a sad face Rose also have an helpless expression.

" well, I think I saw some space beside this house. looking up he saw that their attention is on him already with a face of continue we are listening he continues " how about grandpa should use that to grow some vegetables or any other things that he wants there" he gave his suggestion and it sounded meaningful. As they are thinking about it Rose husband arrives.
