TROUBLE COMES KNOCKING II

As the silence grew in the room Dr Alain and Karen came to a conclusion after much discussion. the conclusion was that Dr Alain will take him to town to look for any trace of his family it will save them the trouble of the villagers getting to know and also allow him to at least recuperate with his family if they are found but the question is what will they do if they couldn't find his family what should they do.

" let's go with the plan first we will think of the rest later" Karen said her brows frowned, she very much wanted to do away with this situation but as it turns out he didn't have any memories nor an identity card with him which is the worst.

" alright, I will take him into town tomorrow morning, we will pass the root that no one used to pass so as to make it discreet" Dr Alain said, he has different thoughts though knowing fully well that someone is out for his life because of the drug he found in his system the last time and he knew in his mind that this guy comes not from the town but either the city or the capital but he couldn't tell Karen these thoughts as he did not want to worsen the situation for her, if she knew, she will suggest leaving him in town to fend for himself.

they told Celine and the guy about their conclusion, Celine wanted to say something but her mother looked at her which made her swallow whatever she wanted to say.

The guy was okay with it so he affirmed

Karen and Celine went home after and Celine gets to talk to her mother

"mother what if we can't find his family will we leave him alone in town to fend for himself?, can't we find a way for him to stay here and recuperate, we can look for the village head and talk to him I'm sure he will understand..." she has not finished when Karen cuts in

"Celine you don't need to concern yourself with this situation anymore focus on your resumption and your studies, college entrance is around the corner so start preparing for it now and you also have a lot of designs to design focus on that. leave that strange guy's matter to Dr Alain and I ,okay?" Karen said sounding serious.

Karen has never been so strict with Celine like other mothers have with their children she just wants her daughter to be free to be herself, express herself and have a mind of herself. this shape Celine's personality she is just herself, black is black and white Is white also she was never one to be bullied and keep quiet she knows it was only her and her mother so she had to be strong for both of them, she also knows what she wants and she go for it.

Celine couldn't sleep that night neither did Karen and the guy who was still thinking what he will do next. it was a sleepless night for most even for Anna's parent, Celine's uncle and aunt.

" is what you said true ?" Ryan, Celine's uncle said to his wife Debra.

after he came back from his outing with his friends drinking and socialising, Debra told him what Anna discovered earlier.

"yes, it is true, your daughter heard it with her own ears " Debra answered sounding so sure

" well, I will investigate this myself to make sure it is true" Ryan said

" what should we do after we've confirmed it is true ?" Debra asked " should we report to the village head or maybe we should ask her to give us money and foodstuff " she continued

" what do you know woman! " Ryan reprimanded her " you should focus on taking care of father and mother " Ryan grumbled

Completely ignoring his wife he starts thinking of how he should go about this new information he has just obtained and how he will investigate this matter

" it better be true this time, hehe, if it is true Karen Karen... " he whispers, his voice so small that even Debra didn't hear his words.

Early in the morning Dr Alain left for town with the guy they passed the road not field working in the town hospital, entering his office they found him busy so they waited outside his office. The hospital was a little crowded today even when it is still early.

After waiting for about an hour or so before Dr Alain loses his patience there came a man around Dr Alain's age he is in his early 40s

"Alain ! " he called out " what brings you here this early? thought you like your secluded life " he said with a sneer

" well I needed your help with something, mark" Dr Alain said with a hint of impatience in his voice "let's talk in your office, shall we?" he continued gesturing with his hands

" of course, and who is this young man?" he asked as his walked into his office. He turned and looked at a nurse telling her to bring three cups of coffee, He turned to look at his guest asking " what flavour do you want?"

" tak, as if you have different flavours, don't they all taste the same, " Dr Alain said making jest of mark, he turned to the nurse and said " Just give me one and a warm water for this gentleman, please "

Mark didn't mind Dr Alain's attitude being used to it he asked what he came to the hospital to do.

" I came to asked you for some information. " Dr Alain said looking all serious now " have anyone come to the hospital to look for anyone for the pass three days?"

" Alain I'm always busy I don't take note of anything like this" mark said, he continues " but I can asked the receptionist if anybody has come looking for someone recently " making a call to the receptionist he asked for the person on duty for the pass three days to come to his office if they are still in the hospital, luckily a lady was on duty throughout these days and she was just about to take her brakes for the next few days.

she came to the office and mark asked if there is anything abnormal these days she has been working

" nothing usually happens " she said

mark asked again " did anyone come looking for their relatives or something recently that you found weird?"

the lady began thinking and then snapped her finger she said " the night after the Strom two burly men came to the hospital asking if we admitted any guy who was in an accident, I asked what is his name as per usual but they seemed strange they didn't know his name but that demand to see all patients admitted during that day I was scared because i was the only one on duty then with Dr Ann who decided to take a nap at that time was woken up from his nap so he was the one that dealt with the issue after he told me to go into the office so I didn't know how the matter was resolved ". the lady said.
