Alex POV
A painful spike runs through my head as I struggle to open my eyes to the blinding light. When I do get my eyes to finally open, they shut immediately as the light only adds to the headache. I feel the arm that was wrapped around my waist tighten. It's warm and familiar. Nolan. Hearing the blinds come down, the lights dim in the room.
A hand comes up to my face and strokes my cheek. I take a deep breath. That is definitely Nolan. Opening my eyes, I see him looking down at me as I stir. I flutter my eyes close. If this is a dream, I want to stay it in for just a little longer.
I don't know how much longer I slept for, but when I wake up next, my headache has mostly subsided. Stretching an arm, I see that I am laying on Nolan. Not looking up at him, I keep my eyes forward as he s
