The next several weeks flew by in a blur. Grammy Sarah’s lesson about taking time to relax now and then paid off immensely. I made sure that each evening after my lessons for the day, I made time to crochet. It was the one thing I loved doing the most. Most nights, Phoebe would come in and sit with me and we would gossip about the palace staff or watch movies while I worked. My first project was a small amigurumi wolf for her. She squealed happily when I gave it to her, vowing to treasure it forever. Since then I’d made several more small stuffed animals and a couple of small lap blankets. I didn’t have any real purpose for them, they were just small items that I could work up quickly for a sense of accomplishment.
