Stretching as she stepped into the bathroom, Lexi finally appreciated her aching muscles. Prying the curtains open, she stepped forward and turned on the shower, enjoying the feel of the warm water against her skin.
She soaped herself, rubbing some aching muscles, reveling in the feel of the water so much that when the creak of the door cut through her moment, she didn't hear it until footsteps sounded. She spun around immediately to check who'd entered the bathroom.
There he stood, Kris, seemingly frozen as his eyes raked over her naked body. It happened so quickly that Lexi could do nothing but stare back, startled. Until he finally turned, that is.
"I'm so sorry. I. . . I didn't know you were here. I should've knocked first." He walked out of the room, closing the door behind him.
