Breath quickening, Kris walked over and took the bracelet from her. His breath hitched as he studied it. It was stunning and made intricately from silver with precious stones used to beautifully inscribe the word 'Tarzan' on it.
“It was delivered early this morning.” His mother explained. “The person who brought it said he was just paid to deliver it. It did come along with a note. I probably left it in the living room but I know it reads something like 'Since you are so good at ruining surprises, why don't you have this beforehand?'. When I saw the name inscribed on the bracelet, I figured it was Lexi. That's why I called her.”
“This doesn't prove anything.” He mused bitterly, glaring at the bracelet.
“Oh, it doesn't? How could she have had this made within such a short time?”
