Ellie POV
I woke up feeling pretty good. I spent a fair bit of time down the river last night and really cleared my head. I got home pretty late, but luckily, Mum was still at work, or I don't think we'll be celebrating tonight.
I can't believe the nerve of Riley, though. Ugh, yuck. What a waste of my time.
I walked to the kitchen, and Mum was on the phone
"Yes, here she is, I'll put her on." Mum said as she handed me the phone.
I checked the caller ID and saw it was Aunty Viv.
Viv lived in Lycan territory, the palace, in fact. She did liaisons between them and packs, making sure everyone was reasonably happy. Mum and Viv have been best friends for years and years. She was absolutely wonderful.
"Hey Aunty Viv,"
"Good morning, my sweet soon to be wolf. Are you excited?"
"Yep. Mum
