what is she upto

After more than ten years together, could I really be easily forgotten ? Would he even feel sad upon hearing of my death? I couldn't help but wondered after hearing the police officers voice.

Michael face showed no sign of concern. He asked. "Is it just a wedding dress?"

"Yes, for now it's just a wedding dress. But Ms Sandra might be in danger. We actually can't say it suicide, we actually think....... "

Before the officer could finish his statement, Michael interrupted him, I don't know who reported this or is handling this case, but I know Sandra very well. She can't take her own life. There's no need to waste resources just to get my attention. She has done this before. "

The officer was surprised. We are newly married, and Michael showed no sign of concern for my own safety. He ended the call before the officer could utter more words.

A bitter laugh came out from me at the idea that Michael might still have feelings for his wife. Even with the police involved, he still didn't show any concern , and still think I'm playing game to the extent of involving the police just to get his attention!

Annabel wrapped around Michael." What if Sandra is really in trouble?.

Then it came to Michael notice. "On the phone yesterday, Sandra sounded extremely weak and like she needed my help.

" Maybe , she threw her wedding dress on the lake to make everything look real. But we really love each other, I have hidden my feelings and let you marry her, what else does she want?

"How she toss an expensive dress, and now it's causing problem, how can she b so Petty?

Michael worried face faded, replaced by contempt for me. I felt like a backdrop when my best friend was always around him and when I complain, he will say there's nothing wrong with my best friend staying close to him. Well I agreed because she's my best friend and because of Michael too.

I ended up connected to Michael when Annabel wast almost hit by a vehicle when she was seven , I ran after her trying to save her but I slipped and fell and lost conscious. When I woke up, I found out that the young Michael had saved me from being hit by another vehicle, that was how we grew up together as childhood friends.

After death,no matter how deeply and painful I mourned ,my hollow eyes could not shed any more tears.

Thought my heart no longer beat,it felt as cold as an ice block .I tried to move away from them but can't get more than four feet away from them.

I watch them as Annabel got in my new cloth,they say on the bed doing lovey dovey.it was as if they were the right couple.

Michael turned and his gaze fell on pur wedding photo,and he paused ."Annabel's,I thought we agreed that after last night, everything will return to normal?"

"Yes,I won't bother you and Sandra anymore". lowering her face to show innocence.

Michael tried calling me ,but it was still unanswered.He put his phone away with a worried face.if he had reported to the police to locate my phone now may be he might have found my body ,but he didn't.

"Yeah is skilled at playing this kind of games ,don't worry michael.he might be at home or back to her family and is intentionally ignoring your calls just to get you worried."

His expression became colder" we could visit her parents today,Sandra would be there or you can call dad,let's know what she's up to.

Two years after Michael mom died,the welcomed Asher into the family and sh became Mrs Raymond.

From the onset ,Asher never liked them it became worst after she met my best friend.I don't know what I did to her,even when I asked my best friend to stop coming to the house because I started feeling too uncomfortable with everything,Ashe allowed her to visit and even even allow her to go out with Michael.

Michael picked-up his phone and dialed a number."hello dad" he said when the person from the other end picked the call.

"You ingrate ,so you decided to call after embarrassing the family."

At my wedding, Michael rushed out, leaving me as subject of ridicule throughout the city because of Annabel.she called him when we were about to exchange rings,that she wasn't feeling too good.

"Dad, it's my fault I thought I was about to die,and called michael.i didn't plan for it to turn out this way" Annabel said when she heard dad's voice from the phone. "Then I heard Asher's voice" why are you so upset with them? besides our in_lwas didn't complain, Annabel dear it's okey,it wasn't your fault."

This has become a familiar occurance over the years, whenever I and Annabel have a misunderstanding,Asher make me look like the victim.makinh Annabel opinion more valid than mine .

" Dad,is Sandra with you?"

" How dare you asked me that,after abandoning her at her wedding, leaving her to be ridiculed.she calmed the quest,left the hall and never returned."

Michael expression changed Abit" where could she have gone?she sent me her location!"

" And the police called me today, telling me they found Sandra's wedding dress at the lake......"

It took him this long to realize I was dead

"You are asking where did she go,how should i know,did you even think of her when you left the wedding like that?Now ,why are you asking me about her where about?"Mr Raymond said

" Dad I'm coming "Michael said and ended the call.

Wasn't it a bit too late to be panicking now?

At the police station.

Michael went straight to the point." Officer,what happened exactly?.

"Mr Michael,this morning,a wedding dress was spotted beside the lake by passer by.they thought it was a body and reported it.After some investigation,we confirmed it was the dress worn by your wife at the wedding......"

" Was there anything else you found aside the dress"he interrupted the officer.

, " No"the officer responded.

" Officer,Sandra often play this kind of games,but we don't want to indulge her"Annabel said nonchalantly, which made the officer raise an eyebrow.

" And you are?"

" I'm her best friend,more like a sister,she has always been deceitful.she excels at playing he victim to manipulate others."

I wanted to defend myself after hearing those accusations leveled against me.

The officers impression remained impassive.

" We also discovered traces of blood on the dress.Aftsr some test conducted,we confirmed it to be ms.sandra DNA.There are also some marks on the dress, likely from sharp object.if she was wearing this dress,she might have been injured from any sharp object,so we suspect ms.sandra may have been harmed.

Michael's face turned ashen.his hand shook uncontrollably.
