Megan lay frustrated on her bed. All her efforts were in vain, as she didn't find any leads on Sassy in Beta Hogan's office. It seems she had to put in some more effort to be able to get something out.
She knew Alpha Murphy still thought about Sassy, even after he rejected her.
She picked up the recorder she saw in the Beta's office. She looked at it for a while and tossed it back to the bed.
That was her only hope of finding something, but she didn't even know how to use it. She had tried searching for answers online on how to use the recorder, but it seemed like it was one of a kind.
Was it even a recorder?
She took out her phone and dialed her mother, the matron.
"Hello, mother." She said, in a small voice.
"How are you doing, baby?" The matron asked.
