Vivian hugged herself as the cool breeze tickled her neck, and her stomach grumbled with hunger. She kept walking aimlessly, with no sense of direction and went wherever her legs carried her until she glimpsed her surroundings getting eerier and eerier. For a moment she knew she wasn't in the cave anymore.
Vivian's eyes fluttered open, blinking against the soft sunset glint. She peeked around, as she had done numerous times before, but it was ridiculous, as it had been each time before.
