Nancy took Ben on the cakes table and began offering him bits of every offering. Then it was the same with drinks too. She had him taste every flavor.
“Nancy... Nancy,” Ben had to stop her, “Stop. I can't taste every Xeronian food in one night.”
Nancy sighed, “You are right. We are out of time and there is so much I want to show you. I wanted to show you my city yet in all the time you were here I kept you hidden.”
Ben took her hand and turned her head so she looked in his eyes, “You kept me safe, and you did a good job. When you brought me to this, your world, you didn't abandon me. You accepted responsibility and watched over me and became my guide. Now I am stronger because of you.”
