Tambudzai, the mind invader in charge of Ben’s interrogation was crazy. Her tactics of getting Ben to talk was to sever the limbs of a prisoner while Ben watched and she would blame it all on Ben’s lies.
Frankly, it was a sound strategy and Ben was breaking. He didn’t want to watch anymore. The prisoner before him had lost an arm and a leg, and next Tambudzai said she was going for his head. There was a roaster of prisoners here and she was going to have to line up all of them in turn till Ben told her the truth about his identity and how he knew the princess.
Ben could tell she was not joking, and that in fact, she was looking forward to tearing the limbs of every prisoner.
