The next day Ben stood upon a precipice outside Elvestopia and looked out into the distance. Trees and mountains were all he could see. He could not see Nancy anywhere and he doubted if today she was going to show. Elvestopia was cut off from the rest of the world so you could not see what was outside. You needed to leave Elvestopia first.
Tiana came to stand beside him and to look out to the plain too. It was still morning. They stood in silence for a while.
“Can you sense her?” he asked.
