Chapter 6 Genthry could have spent the rest of eternity in his little nest with Dryath, curled up on a cushion and watching the stars. Clothing was completely optional. Unfortunately for him—and, presumably, Dryath—neither of them had eternity. Genthry couldn’t stay in one place for long, never mind forever. Dryath had to return to his real life and his actual job. The job where he hunted people like Genthry down. It was nice to pretend for a while, and he and Dryath could keep reality at bay for a week or so. By the time Jormoly returned from his supply run, Genthry’s paranoia was getting the best of him. He wouldn’t have been surprised to find out Dryath was becoming anxious too. He’d caught his lover chewing on his nails, a habit he hadn’t had before they arrived on Plehsiss. Jormol
