Chapter 3-2

1752 Words

Dryath tried not to listen to his lithe, handsome captor. Everyone always had some kind of sob s********e kind of excuse as to why they should be the exception to the rule of law. Why should they be allowed to break the law, while everyone else had to trudge along with their everyday life? Of course a slave didn’t want to be a slave. Of course he would want to hurt a harmful master. It only made sense. Dryath would probably want to do the same thing. It wasn’t up to Dryath, and even if it were, he didn’t know if he would make an exception. What was the point of having laws if you were going to let people break them all the time? The problem was, Dryath had to find a way out of his current predicament. He couldn’t do so if he didn’t pay attention to the person with the power here—Genthry.
