The proposal gone wrong

The days were as usual and I was busy in working and It was Sunday, I received a call from Avinash saying let's go outside and have some good biryani and spend a good day. Yes Avinash is my good friend so whenever we had time we used to go outside and spend some good time as to relax ourselves from work. I refused to him saying I don't want to go anywhere as I wanted to spend time with my grandparents.

I immediately said to him that granny is making biryani at home and he can join here itself. Even my grandparents knew about him and they knew he is really a good person and he said he will join in sometime and cut the call.

After some time he came to home and I was playing with my puppy he joined us and spend some fun time and we all sat and spoke about our work and ate yum yum chicken biryani and in the evening me and Avinash went for some walk in our garden.

Avinash was asking about our garden and my grandparents and he asked me about my marriage. Without thinking I said I'm not interested in that yet. He asked what if there is a good guy and he wants to marry you and take care of you and love you till end. I laughed hearing his words and asked him to stop joking around again. This was nth time he was saying same thing and I know he is just teasing me. As usual after that he changed the topic and said thank god that strict boss is not coming to hospital and we are little free.

When he said boss, I remembered yeah he is not coming to hospital. But I didn't feel he was strict he was a good person he always spoke well to me and he was handsome boss I thought. I just said yeah to Avinash and no worries we will carry on our work with or without anyone it won't make any difference.

After few days, it was a good day and it was not sunny nor too cloudy day. I thought of wearing maxi floral dress and bid by bye to my family and went to hospital. When I went inside my cabin it was quite different there were bouquet of roses and balloons too. I was little surprised to see what's happening and I saw a letter on my table and saw meet me at hospital garden, Avinash. I saw his name and relaxed okay it is him... Is he pulling some prank on me again. I thought but my heart was telling something will happen today I was not sure what. Now that I think he was behaving weirdly these few days and whenever I used to ask he said wait for few days.

When I reached the garden I saw Avinash there and he was looking different today. I asked him what happened suddenly he kneeled before me and said. The day I saw you for first time I was in love with you and the day I got to know you I was sure you are the one I want in my life. When I spend my time with you everyday I was very happy with you and now I want to spend my whole life with you and be the happiest person in the world. I love you Priti.... Will you marry me.....??

Now I was in shock, I never saw Avinash in that way. He was my senior, my colleague and such a good friend I ever had. Now how can I tell him this I don't want to hurt him. But I decided to tell the truth coz saying truth is best than lying.

I understand you love me I respect that but Avinash I never saw you in that way. Sorry for hurting you but I'm never interested in relationships neither I want to marry anyone. Please understand and let's continue to be good friends as usual. I'm sorry for hurting you like this. After saying this I thought avinash to be angry but he stood and smiled at me.

He said he understands my point and if someday I change my decision he asked me to choose him. I smiled and said sure.

Thank god it ended well, but still I was feeling somethings gonna happen. He said atleast you can take this roses and don't wanna waste it. Without thinking I laughed and took that roses and said thank you they are so beautiful... Immediately someone punched avinash. Oh god I didn't get the time to reach someone pulled me by my hand and when I saw it was my boss.

He took that roses and throwed it away and started dragging me from there. I was in complete shock to react anything and turned back to see Avinash falling on ground rubbing his cheeks. What is happening I realised and started calling my boss.

Sir what are you doing, excuse me sir???

He didn't respond anything and was dragging me towards lift. As it was quite early in hospital not much people were there even patients were asleep but few staff were watching us with fear. I started to remove my hand from his grip and calling him continuously. Without leaving grip and without responding anything he entered the lift and pressed 20th floor. What whyyy!!

I called him continuously and trying to remove my hand and was asking him what he was doing. He was hell angry.. I could see veins barging out of skin on forehead neck and even his hands. I was really scared and shocked at the same time. God help me what is happening here.
