At night, after tucking my sweet daughter in, I turned over and felt Philip pull me into a tight embrace.
The heat radiating from him made my face flush instantly.
"Stop it, Amanda is right there," I said, referring to our daughter.
He just chuckled softly. "I'm just hugging you, nothing else. So, what did you and Annie talk about today?"
I turned to face him and snuggled deep into his arms.
"I told her how lucky I am to have you, Philip. Choosing you was the best decision I ever made."
It's true.
I can't even imagine how much misery I would have dealt with if I had ended up with anyone else.
I'm just so grateful I chose the right guy.
