Location: Berlin Code Name: Blackout Time: 14:00 hours International Time The place smelled like piss and stagnant water. Tower had found the subterranean garage in an abandoned building at the outskirts of the city of Berlin. It was desolated and unused, exactly the kind of place we needed to use for a couple of hours. I drove the black Mercedes all the way to the lower floor and parked by the far end, checking in the mirrors the deserted garage for any type of surprise. Any civilian had a range of 3.5 seconds to react inside of their car and flee from any possible attackers in time. That was not considering the fact they could be shot down, of course, then the average of successful escapes went down to one successful escape in five kidnappings.
