Chapter 6Wednesday night, I had dinner plans with Bri. Casey waved me off when I tried to stay with her. She was getting all of her things situated in her room. We were able to sneak in and out of her parents’ house while they were not home to gather her belongings. I told her not to take anything they bought for Cora, and the resulting take from the house was minimal. We made plans to go shopping the next day at second-hand stores after we stopped by the local Pregnancy Resource Center.
