MLB NL MVP: This is a nice message. Me: Oh! So, you remember that, do ya? MLB NL MVP: No, but Yingyi told me. Me: Nice. How’s the head? MLB NL MVP: Clearer. I’m sorry about last night. I didn’t expect to see you there. Me: You got caught. MLB NL MVP: Yes, well, I do that for a living. What? I didn’t get that, and so I decided to say nothing. MLB NL MVP: You know, because I’m a pitcher and I work with a catcher, so all my work gets caught. . . . It was a joke. Me: Hmmm. . . . MLB NL MVP: Okay, about this dinner on Monday.
