The mate of pain

Chapter 3

I ran to the pack's territory, when I reached it, all the pack members turned their heads to look at who had entered. When they saw me, they all shifted and charged me. The hair on my hackles stood on end so I growled a low, deadly growl.

"Stand down to your future Luna!" I bellowed, but by that time, father was out and he went to attack me as well and I shifted back to my human form. Daddy stopped mid shift and he looked at me.

"Princess, can you shift back into your wolf for me?" he asked. I was surprised but did as he said. The shift was less painful than the first time. When I was back in my wolf, a scent hit me. It smelled of pine wood and lavender. It was the best sent ever. I forgot everyone else as I spotted where the scent was coming from, it was my best friend.

'Mate, mate!' Vixey shouted in my head.

I started to walk towards my mate when a second scent hit me. That sent was also mouth watering, again I turned to see where the scent was coming from. It was coming from my long-time crush, so I turned and went to go to him, but when I saw that the slut of our pack was clinging to him, so I turned around and went back to my bes- no mate, then I shifted into my human form and I looked at him and he looked back at me when I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist from behind.

"MINE!" A voice shouted from behind me, making me flinch.

"NO MINE!" My mate shouted. I was harshly yanked out of the arms, missing the warmth. I turned to face both of the boys that thought I was theirs, as if I am so sort of property.

"What is going on with both of you?!" I asked.

Alex, my mate and best friend, was the first to say

" I am your mate but he thinks that he is to, which means that you have two mates and you can reject one of us, or you can take both of us as your mate. The third option is that one of us can challenge the other to have you as our mate.''

I looked around and saw that the pack was nodding along with what he was saying. I also saw that there were some lustful stares from the unmated males in our pack. I looked down to see that I was naked. I squealed and went to hide behind Dominic, my mate I guess. He pulled off his coat and draped it around me, I peaked out from behind Dominics shoulder to see that Alex was punching one of the males that was staring at me.

"Enough Alex!" I yelled at him. He came over to me and leaned down to breathe in my scent, but there was a growl behind us and Alex responded with a growl of his own.
